Palo Santo (Bursera graveolens) wood of Ecuadorian-origin is slightly more petite in size & rounded in shape, with “sweeter” notes of cinnamon, vanilla, & coconut.

Peruvian origin is slightly larger in size & and more rectangular in shape, with the “spicier” notes of citrus, mint, and diesel. Both can exhibit aromatic notes of the other, depending on the particular pieces of wood. 

They are both very lovely & are simply two different varietals of Palo Santo (Bursera graveolens) wood.
