Blacasso is a Houston-based artist who discovered his artistic talent from being bored one day during quarantine and decided to customize an old pair of 97 Airmax shoes he owned so they can match the Monstar Space Jam Jersey he recently purchased. After customizing the shoes Blacasso grew a liking for painting and the therapeutic aspect it brought him. Blacasso then went to Micheals and purchased acrylic paint supplies, and started and finished his debut painting The Lost King that day. Since then Blacasso has done numerous custom pieces, portraits, and abstract art all-embracing his passionate, Afrocentric, and metaphorical style.
