Hello! My name is Jocelyn aka Jae, I am the owner and founder of RennyLashes, your new premier favorite strip eyelash boutique!
Renny Lashes was founded on the principle of pure love for eyelashes. My enthusiasm and fascination with individual eyelashes lead me to cosmetology school where I received my certification in esthiology, later receiving my Esthetician’s license. Early on in my esthetician career I had to come to terms with the fact that my astigmatism made the application of individual eyelashes quite the task for me. I thought my dream of owning an eyelash brand was over.
However, my love for eyelashes did not allow my problematic eyes to deter me from supplying beautiful eyelash styles for every occasion; even everyday wear! One day while I was enjoying the company of my one year old niece Serenity I could not help but notice she had the most beautiful, full set of eyelashes I had ever seen!
It was in that moment I had my first thought of starting a strip eyelash company. I knew that it was time to redirect my love for eyelashes, so I began the journey to bring my vision to life. Through trial and error, stagnation and pure self doubt I fought to bring my idea to fruition. Eventually, I had to step back to re-evaluate why I wanted to create this company? What was my ultimate goal?
I created RennyLashes as an ode to my lovely niece Renny; she will forever be the inspiration behind why I founded this company. Her eyelashes reignited my spark and reminded me that I love eyelashes because there is always a style to serve that desired look for every occasion! Along my journey I knew that my ultimate goal was to create a versatile strip eyelash company where everyone, even beginners could feel comfortable shopping for different styles, And hopefully one day Renny will join the team !
While my niece was the muse for the creation of the company I wanted to make sure I was represented in the business as well! When coming up with the name for each collection I wanted to honor myself in the process. Each collection highlights different aspects of my personality and different personas. From the quaint and down to earth Jocelyn, to the hot and fiery Jae to the suave and sweet Shante; I want all of my ladies represented within the selection of eyelashes offered.
