The Urban Teacher LLC unofficially started with a YouTube channel dedicated to creating social studies content videos for middle school and elementary students. I started the channel because I found that the social studies content videos already saturating the platform were geared to AP history and college students. Those videos were too advanced for the middle school students that I teach.
In 2021, the company became official. I continue to post videos on YouTube, but I started selling educational supplies for teachers as well as homeschooling parents.
